The Learning Lab Center is an allied health science educational hub that provides career training for the industry’s most talented and skilled prospective healthcare professionals. The Learning Lab Center was birthed from Making A Change Cincy (MAC) to address the high need for healthcare training in the workforce.
Making A Change Cincy (MAC) mission is to serve as a defining force in the community of Cincinnati as an agent for change. Our focus is to provide a safe, supportive, and structures learning environment maximizing training and education in in-demand fields of Healthcare, socioeconomic growth, and personal development, which connects the classroom to post-secondary education and careers.
Making A Change Cincy is committed to high expectations which include a high degree of academics, professionalism, accountability, and respect. We create an innovative curriculum to prepare our students for exciting post-secondary, career, or technical field opportunities. We promote an atmosphere of respect for all students and staff, with all stakeholders being held accountable for their performance. We offer a supportive, structure, and safe environment that fosters academic excellence, social growth, and personal development.

OUR SERVICES
STICKS 4 KICKS
Sticks 4 Kicks (S4K) is a program to help high school seniors in phlebotomy programs get the practice they need before they can take the Certified National Phlebotomy Technician exam. Each student is required to have 30 successful blood draws before they can take the exam. Students in the phlebotomy program receive 1 full year of training, 254 hours of in-person learning, 90 hours of lab, and 3 days of intensive hands-on work-based experience.

Making A Change Cincy (MAC) was created in 2011 to serve as a defining force in the community of Cincinnati as an agent for change in the healthcare industry. Our focus is to provide a safe, supportive, and structures learning environment maximizing training and education in in-demand fields of healthcare, socio-economic growth, and personal development, which connects the classroom to post-secondary education and careers.
